Robin
Ford – President & Master Carpenter
Robin began his homebuilding business in 1984 after working
several years for a small firm that specialized in old estate
renovation and remodeling. His subsequent experience with a
variety of projects led to the gradual growth of the company
to now include nine full-time employees. As a lifelong resident
of Carroll County, Maryland, Robin has an intimate knowledge
of the many charms and characteristics of our neighborhoods
and communities. He builds longstanding relationships with subcontractors
and suppliers to provide a sound and reliable basis for his
business. Robin is also Project Manager for each new home, addition
or remodeling so you will see him on site as well as work with
him in our office planning and fine-tuning your project. Robin
enjoys his vintage Mustangs and Volkswagens, fishing and relaxing
at Deep Creek Lake. |

Shirlyn
Evans-Ford – Vice-President
Shirlyn has been part of the business since leaving the American
Red Cross as a Medical Laboratory Technician in 1989. She works
in our office two days a week and is responsible for marketing,
safety and training compliance, design and product awareness,
insurance and miscellaneous office functions. Robin and Shirlyn
collaborate on many aspects of the company as well as their
two children, Alyssa, eleven years old and Sean, six. Shirlyn
loves horseback riding, skiing, traveling, and visiting Deep
Creek Lake. |

Cindi
Fitzgerald – Office Administrator
Cindi has worked in our office since 1995 and is a delighted
former customer. She brought our office into the computer age
with her five years experience from Unisys Corp. (formerly Burrows
Corp.) in software installations for primarily banking application.
Cindi is usually the first person that you will speak with at
Robin Ford Building & Remodeling, Inc. As well as being
the liaison between the customer and Robin, Cindi “does
it all” from assisting Robin with subcontractor and materials
delivery scheduling to troubleshooting our office equipment
to filing for your building permit and helping you choose your
selections. Cindi and her family enjoy spending time together
outdoors and collecting cats. |

Bryan
Smith – Painter & Carpenter
Bryan has worked for us since 1988, having worked for a commercial
painter for several years prior to coming to us. His painting
experience is evident in the fine quality of his work and he
also assists in framing and various carpentry work. He is a
life-long resident of Westminster, currently living there in
the house he built. Bryan enjoys fishing, model trains and sports. |

Chris
Harris – Carpenter, Equipment Operator
Chris is the youngest Harris brother and one of our most versatile
employees. Prior to coming to us in 1993, Chris worked for six
years at Alger in their electronic technical department. He
does layout, framing, trim, and excavation and assists Tom with
electrical wiring. Chris and his wife, Barbie have two daughters
and enjoy computer technology and traveling. |

Dave
Lentzner – Carpenter
“Uncle” Dave also displays his versatility everyday
by doing trim work, cutting, painting and equipment maintenance.
Dave worked at Black and Decker in Hampstead for 20 years and
has worked for us for thirteen years. Dave and his wife Sharon
live in Littlestown, Pennsylvania and enjoy spending time with
their grandchildren. |
